Reasons to agree:
- There is no unity among our international nonmilitary resources (state department, etc).
- There is no clear leadership and no clear line of authority in our international nonmilitary resources (state department, etc).
- The armed forces removed barriers to unify efforts across the services. This included establishing 'joint commands' with individual commanders fully responsible for their geographic region. We should do the same thing with the state department, and other nonmilitary assets that the government has.
- Every organization needs clear leadership, lines of authority and responsibility.
